Personal Trainer

Hi, I work as a personal trainer, with over 30 years’ experience.

My pathway into physical activity was inspired by my father who wasa weightlifter. I enjoyed playing football from an early age but around twelve years old I noticed I was somewhat smaller than my peers, so turned to my father for help. He showed me how I could improve my physique with some lightweight training.

Through observation, listening to his instruction and regular training under his guidance and patience, I began seeing the new me and the knock-on effect this had in every aspect of my life. My confidence grew, my motivation, memory skills and overall strength improved, my mood shifted, and I noticed a positive improvement across the board. Through my late teens & early twenties, I continued to thrive in sport, especially in football and began to adapt all my training knowledge to create my own training methods, which I shared with others. I coached both adults and children’s football teams, and then realising my passion, in my spare time I studied and became a qualified personal trainer.

I began training family & friends as a freelance personal trainer & then became employed as a Fitness Manager & personal trainer within a leisure centre based in Surrey.
